A lack of faith is detrimental because it creates a low-vibrational state rooted in doubt and fear, which disrupts the flow of positive energy needed to manifest desired outcomes. When you lack faith—whether in yourself, the universe, or the process—you focus on what’s missing or what could go wrong, sending out negative energy that attracts more scarcity, obstacles, or unfulfilled desires. It’s like you’re telling the universe, “I don’t believe this will work,” and that doubt can pull in experiences that reinforce those fears.
Faith, on the other hand, acts like a magnet for abundance. It’s about trusting that things can and will align, which keeps your energy high and open to possibilities. Without faith, you’re stuck in a cycle of worry or skepticism, blocking the gratitude and optimism needed to draw in positive results like opportunities, success, or meaningful connections. Cultivating faith—through trust, visualization, or small steps of belief—lifts your vibe and aligns you with the outcomes you’re aiming for.
A lack of faith—whether in a religious, spiritual, or personal sense—can be detrimental because it may lead to feelings of hopelessness, lack of purpose, or disconnection from community and values. It is also the key ingredient to manifesting positive things in our minds, bodies, and world. For many, a lack of faith is one of their biggest barriers to success. Many times, we fear letting go of control because we are concerned doing so will mean a less than desirable outcome. Additionally, deep down many of us fear that if we have faith and then things still go wrong, then we may lose what little faith we have, and therefore don’t want to chance it.
For many, the words “God” or “Religion” have negative connotations for them and they may not desire to align with something they feel is not a loving force. But you don’t have to believe in a certain God or Religious dogma to know that there is goodness in the world and it shows up for us hundreds of times a day. How often do you count the things that go well all of their own accord as gifts of goodness? Do you see negative occurrences as problems that life is throwing at us but fail to see the gifts in the many good occurrences from a positive force as well? We need to give positivity gratitude in order to enhance our faith in it.
